Homework Policy

Homework is given because it is useful in reinforcing what has been learned in class, preparing students for upcoming lessons, extending and generalizing concepts, teaching responsibility and helping students develop positive study habits.

Homework Packets will be given  on Monday and collected on Friday.  Parents are to sign the front page of the student's completed homework. 

Homework will increase as time progresses.

Students are expected to complete each homework assignment and turn in daily.  Homework folders should be in a blue folder with pockets and placed in the homework basket each morning.   

Students will also be given a conduct chart and receive an apple sticker or an "X" for behavior. The apple represents good behavior, the "X" represents inappropriate behavior.

 Please check your child's conduct chart which is located in their blue homework folder.
